Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Review
Jul 15
Mortal Kombat has long since been a staple in console gaming. But it wasn’t until the introduction of the XBox 360 that it’s real potential was met. Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is exactly what it sounds like: the traditional Mortal Kombat fighting game with added characters from DC Comics.
Among the Dc players you can choose are Batman, The Joker, Catwoman, The Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, Captain Marvel, Deathstroke, and The Flash. These are only a few that you can match up against each other, or again the classic Mortal Kombat characters.
If this wasn’t impressive enough that combo moves they have out in are outstanding. You have the originals from the MK games, of course. But there are several new ones, as well as some great moves from the DC characters. For example, the Joker has a hand buzzer that electrocutes his opponent, and when they fall for it he dances and laughs as they recover.
All of this is in addition to the graphics themselves being incredible, and far superior than any former generation of MK games. The backgrounds are more interactive, and the 360 is as good as it’s name as it takes on you full turn around the course, and through barriers to fall onto a lower level.
